The Patrick F. Taylor Foundation created the 18 in '18 arts competition in order to involve youth in celebrating the Tricentennial of New Orleans. Contestants, all New Orleans students turning 18 this year, expressed their connection to the culture and spirit of New Orleans through art. Autumn Francis, Ryan Simien, and Raymond Green were selected as finalists. Local filmmaker and high school Junior, Kelly Yu, also created a mini-documentary with the finalists to highlight all that New Orleans has to offer.
