Sci High is supported by The Foundation for Science & Mathematics Education, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization and an advocate for an open-admissions, rigorous, hands-on educational model paired with the belief that any student can succeed when provided with a safe and supportive environment. With its staff of two, the Foundation and its board of directors foster financial and community support for the New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School, Sci High. Volunteer

New Orleans Outreach coordinates volunteers for Sci High. The group places parents, community members and university students as tutors, mentors, and teacher assistants. Outreach works with potential volunteers to determine how their interests best match the needs at Sci High. Our goal is to enhance the educational experience of the students we serve and to provide a fulfilling position for the volunteer. To learn more, visit New Orleans Outreach.
